CONNECT TO WI-FI

Adjust temperature, easily set schedules and timers from anywhere - all from the Smart Life app.

Once the app is downloaded, sign up, and agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Step 1: Prepare your phone

Enable Wi-Fi, location and Bluetooth on your phone. Connect to your phone to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

NOTE: for some dual band routers, you may need to manually create a network dedicated to 2.4 GHz.

Step 2: Determine which unit you have

Make sure you heater is Wi-Fi compatible by confirming the Model No. on the back sticker ends in “WIFI”. Connection may vary based on units, so please look at your screen or model to select how to continue.

Step 3: Enable Wi-Fi discovery mode

Turn the heater on and then press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the control panel until the Wi-Fi indicator light begins flashing.

While the heater is plugged in but off (standby mode), hold the up arrow button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator light begins flashing.

Step 4: Add device

Open your app. Which of the following occurs?

Pop-up

No pop-up

If a pop-up is displayed, tap Add. Choose Wi-fi and enter your case-sensitive password. Tap next.

It may take a minute for the heater to connect, so be patient.

Ok, let's try adding manually.

Tap + in the top right hand corner and select Add Device.

Open your app. Which of the following occurs?

Choose Small Home Appliance from the left side, then find the “Heater (Wi-Fi).

Choose Wi-fi and enter your case-sensitive password. Tap Confirm. If you are prompted to reset the heater, disregard and press Next.

Confirm the Wi-Fi indicator light on the control panel is flashing quickly and select “blinking quickly” within the app. Then click on finish network configuration.

It may take a few minutes to connect.
