In Kalispell, Montana, crews are beginning the next phase of construction at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Although they have been dealing with unseasonably cold and rainy temperatures, they are still working feverishly to complete the project in a timely manner. To avoid possible weather delays, these construction employees will need the targeted warmth of infrared heaters. According to KAJ18 News, the hospital renovation is one of the largest construction projects in the state. In order to wrap up the work in the hospital’s surgical wing, crews have officially closed off the old entrance to the emergency room. Apparently, the new emergency room entrance is more advanced and eye-catching. This job is more difficult for crew members because they have to work around the patients and hospital staff and still manage to meet the deadline. At a cost of less than 14 cents per hour, the energy efficiency of infrared heaters is ideal for construction projects in the Rocky Mountain region. Other sources like propane heaters typically cost more than three dollars per hour to operate. |
