In the Westwood-Washington Township of New Jersey, members of the Planning Board have unanimously voted for outdoor dining at Vincent’s Trattoria in the downtown area. The owner of the establishment, Vincent Gazzillo, put in the request for an outdoor patio last week. In order to maintain a steady flow of customers during the off-season, restaurant managers will need the targeted warmth of infrared heaters. According to the Westwood-Washington Township Patch, Gazzillo had already received permission from the owner of the Washington Town Center and local movie theater to place outdoor dining within the shopping center. This patio area won’t block the sidewalk or entrance to the movie theater because Gazzillo’s restaurant is conveniently located on the side of the building. Gazzillo has also agreed to consider the community residents by not using outdoor music. The energy efficiency of infrared heaters can keep customers comfortable in unfavorable weather conditions. At a cost of less than 14 cents per hour, Heat Storm devices are superior to alternative sources like propane heaters – which typically cost about three dollars per hour. |
