Heat Storm - Outdoor Infrared Heaters

Causeway construction warrants the use of infrared heaters

In Naples, Maine, construction crews are renovating a causeway along Route 302 to make the highway safer for tourists. This project is expected to be wrapped up in time for the peak of summer so that vacationers can visit the area without a hassle. In order to avoid weather delays and meet the necessary deadline, crews will need the targeted warmth of infrared heaters.

According to WLBZ News, the bridge along Route 302 was too old to properly accommodate the volume of cars that drive through on a regular basis. Townspeople eventually agreed that the most viable approach was to implement a higher, fixed bridge, which the crews are now working feverishly to build.

Aside from this causeway, crews are also fixing up the landscape surrounding the lakefront in Naples. These refinements include a grassy knoll to divide the parking areas from the highway and a boardwalk.

To remain comfortable in unseasonably cold temperatures, construction crews will need the energy efficient warmth of infrared heaters. At a cost of less than 14 cents per hour, Heat Storm devices are superior to alternative sources like propane heaters – which typically cost more than three dollars per hour to operate.
