Heat Storm - Outdoor Infrared Heaters

Washington mountain resort community stimulates the use of infrared heaters

An alluring mountain community that’s only several miles east of Seattle is finally up-and-running. For years, a bar known as the Brick Saloon was virtually the only business in the solitary town of Roslyn, but now a new resort has opened – which will likely attract more tourists. In order to increase the flow of business during the off-season, the recently-constructed Suncadia Resort will need the energy efficiency of infrared heaters for outdoor activities.

According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the Suncadia Resort features a luxurious spa, a spacious golf course and outdoor concert venues. In a series of free events that are dubbed Summer Nights in the Village, the new establishment has booked popular bands from the Northwest region to play. The styles of music will include bluegrass, rock, country, blues and reggae. There will even be aerial acrobatic performances at the venue.

At a cost of less than 14 cents per hour, infrared heaters can keep large crowds comfortable with a directional warmth that will not be lost in the cool Pacific breeze. Heat Storm devices are more cost effective than propane heaters, which cost roughly three dollars per hour to operate.
