Renovations are being made on the patio area of the downtown promenade in Naperville, Illinois. Construction crews are working on enhancements that will make the area more appealing to both tourists and locals alike. The workers will need the energy efficiency of infrared heaters in order to keep themselves comfortable in an affordable manner. According to the Naperville Sun, updates include the addition of an ivy-colored curved wall to improve the view for patio guests, as well as the movement of the Symbiotic Sojourn sculpture. The original sculptural artist is thinking of ways to convert this statue from two to three dimensions to boost the quality of the work. The newly designed statue will be positioned 20 feet closer to the outdoor dining areas. Not only this, but the patio will be filled with more potted plants and other decorative landscaping features. For landscapers and other crews near the Great Lakes region, the targeted warmth of infrared heaters will protect workers from the brutally chilling winds. At a cost of less than 14 cents per hour, users can constantly run these units without worrying about replacing a tank, unlike propane heaters. |
