In the coastal range of northern California, the Patrona restaurant is being endowed with a bike corral and outdoor seating. The Ukiah City Council has unanimously approved the biker-friendly plan, which will increase the volume of customers in any west coast community. To combat the chilling winds from the Pacific, restaurant managers should implement infrared heaters to their agenda. According to the Ukiah Daily Journal, this new patio concept was a cohesive effort between city planners and the private owners of the restaurant, as the sidewalk in front of the establishment was widened. Also, the bike corral was made possible when city officials agreed to use parking spaces for the cause. “This is very exciting to me,” Mayor Mari Rodin told the news source. “Amidst all the depressing things happening, this is a bright light – something that people can be excited about and will give them a reason to come downtown.” Infrared heaters are the most energy efficient option for restaurant managers when it comes to providing warmth. At a cost of just14 cents per hour, Heat Storm devices are superior to other sources, such as propane heaters. |
