Infrared heaters boost the conversion of a gas station into a coffee shop

With a market that is growing beyond normal expectations, the coffee industry is a bandwagon that every food chain is hopping onto. A gas station chain in Kansas City known as QuikTrip is now including premium coffee and ice cream items to its dining menu, while also offering outdoor seating for those who want a casual alfresco experience. As the outcome of this innovative plan is relatively unknown, infrared heaters have the ability to increase business by attracting customers to the outdoor patio during chilly nights.

To make up for the profits that are being lost at the helm of soaring gas prices, QuikTrip is obligated to take a new approach. According to Kansas City Pitch, this coffee-patio expansion is still in the testing phase in at least three different locations in Missouri.

Infrared heaters are the most energy efficient solution to cold weather situations, particularly for a gas station that is hoping to add a unique dining element. At a cost of 14 cents per hour, Heat Storm devices are much more cost-effective than propane heaters – which typically cost at least three dollars per hour.
