Kansas wind farms encourage the demand for infrared heat

Ever since the town was nearly obliterated by an F5 tornado in 2007, Greensburg, Kansas, has undergone dramatic changes in order to rebuild. Their goal was to become the greenest town in the world, and the citizens are well on their way – especially after winning the award for “Wind Project of the Year”. To counter the effects of chilling winds from the Rocky Mountains, successful farmers from Greensburg are better off with outdoor infrared heaters.
