Heat Storm - Outdoor Infrared Heaters

Kansas wind farms encourage the demand for infrared heat

Ever since the town was nearly obliterated by an F5 tornado in 2007, Greensburg, Kansas, has undergone dramatic changes in order to rebuild. Their goal was to become the greenest town in the world, and the citizens are well on their way – especially after winning the award for “Wind Project of the Year”. To counter the effects of chilling winds from the Rocky Mountains, successful farmers from Greensburg are better off with outdoor infrared heaters.

With the benefits of cleaner air, such as an expanding job market and the improvement of lease revenues for farmers, unimaginable opportunities are now available for the small town. For a community that makes such an accomplished effort to go green overall, infrared heaters are the perfect way to uphold the standards of efficiency on a smaller scale.

Heat Storm infrared devices are directional – as opposed to propane heaters, which lose much of their functionality to strong winds and other factors. Also, the cheaper hourly cost, about 14 cents per hour, conserves way more energy than other heat sources on a regular basis.
